Leeds Stars Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is the point of contact for all volunteers within Leeds Stars Club. He / she is responsible for ensuring that the requested number of volunteers are assigned to the required roles for the everyday running of the club and in their competitions and that all volunteers are officially registered with Special Olympics Great Britain. He / she should ensure that all volunteers are deployed appropriately, valued and recognised for their time and contribution.

Breaking Boundaries Birmingham

The breaking boundaries project is a cricket based project running in conjunction with the ECB aimed at engaging all ages, genders and ethnicities with a goal of improving community cohesion. Its about making a difference in the local community, and in Birmingham the identified areas are Edgbaston and Sparkbrook, both of which are very close to the university. The project is being run locally by Sport Birmingham, with support from Sporting Equals and Warwickshire Cricket.

Are you interested in supporting people through exercise and fun?

We are looking for volunteers who can facilitate an exercise/sports session for our members who are in recovery and looking for their Next Steps towards a positive, healthy future.

Any exercise that does not cost a lot and would be open for all, regardless of current fitness and ability levels. It also needs to be during the day. We do have a minibus so can travel to a park or other facilities.

Head Coach - Sheffield Junior Sharks Basketball Club

Paid Opportunity - Sheffield Sharks Basketball are recruiting for Junior Team Head Coaches for the U14 and U18 age groups.
The role will include coaching the training sessions of an age-group team (typically 2 per week in the evenings) and games (either Saturday or Sunday) from September to April.
The coach will also need to make themselves available for relevant and statutory training to be compliant with the role.
A fee per season of £500 will be paid to each Head Coach. This will be over 5 months plus agreed expenses.
