CoCoMad Festival Want you Involved!

Have you ever fancied getting involved with a festival and being a part of that fun, creative, happy vibe which oozes from such an event? But perhaps the lack of a hot shower has put you off ever volunteering at one…well this could be the festival for you! CoCoMAD is a free festival of music, art, circus, dance, science and really good food, organised by the volunteers who look after Cotteridge Park, where it is held.

CoCoMad Festival Want you Involved!

This one day free festival is at the heart of the community in the Cotteridge area of South Birmingham and offers a full programme of music, art, circus, dance and science, suitable for all ages. The whole event is organised by volunteers who look after Cotteridge Park, where it is held, and has built a name for itself as one of the most popular community festivals held within the city.

If you have an interest in behind the scenes event planning, marketing, fundraising or just wanting to be involved in the general running and social vibe of a community event such as this, then here is an opportunity for you.

CoCoMad organisers are now looking for volunteers to help with the planning and the running of the festival and have a variety of roles available with something to suit everyone.

They are looking for volunteers to:

  • Directing Visitors
  • Set-up and Pack Down
  • Staffing the Entrances and Exits
  • Litter Picking and Managing Recycling
  • Stage Stewarding / Managing

Planning Team Members:

  • Help with Programming – Finding and Managing Activities at the Festival
  • Help with Marketing
  • Fund Raising and Finding / Obtaining Sponsors

If you would you like to get involved with this "..small, but perfectly formed, festival" held in the beautiful Cotteridge Park, then please get in touch!

Planning for CoCoMAD 2020 has started but they are eager to hear from anyone interested in getting involved.
