Annual Disability and Activity Survey 2022-23 Research Briefing

The survey is the primary source of insight for organisations working to achieve fairness for disabled in sport and activity. It provides detailed insight into changes in disabled people’s perceptions and experiences of sport and activity year-on-year. It complements Sport England’s Active Lives Adult Survey, helping us understand why disabled people are still twice as likely to be inactive as non-disabled people.

Annual Disability and Activity Survey 2022-23 Research Briefing

This event will bring together people and organisations from many sectors including sport, leisure, and disability. Join colleagues from Activity Alliance, and research participants to explore the survey findings and areas for action.

The research briefing session will help you to:

• Understand key findings, including key areas for change and action.

• Hear from research participants on their lived experience, and how we worked together on the project.

• Connect with and hear from other organisations on how to collectively use the findings and asks for positive change.

• Share your input on how we can improve the Year 5 survey, and how you can be involved.
