About St Edmundsbury Sailing & Canoeing Association
The Club is a recognised RYA Training and Sailability (disabled sailing) centre, which runs sailing courses for members several times a year.
Dinghy racing is organised on Sundays and Thursday evening pursuit races throughout the summer.
The Club has a fleet of boats which are available to hire to members, so it is not necessary to own your boat in order to sail. The Club prides itself on being accessible to all. Family membership is £72 per year.
The Club hosts a number of other sailing organisations including the Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Mildenhall Sea Cadets; YPA (Young People Afloat); WASH Sailability (disabled sailing); Suffolk Scouts and Priory School.
Whether you are interested in dinghy sailing (pottering or racing), canoeing or just like the great outdoors, you are most welcome to visit the Club to see what we have to offer.
