In alignment with Active Suffolk's overall vision to improve the health and wellbeing across Suffolk by inspiring more people to become active, a large focus of our work is around supporting adults to be more physically active.

Physical activity comes in many forms, meaning there is something for everyone.

Walking, fitness classes, competitive sport, gardening and day to day movement all counts as physical activity and our goal is to support you to overcome barriers and find activity you can enjoy. This website is home to a wide range of physical activity options across the county, but in this section you will find out more about how physical activity can benefit you, whilst also providing details for some of the projects we deliver in Suffolk including: Fit Villages and our Active Wellbeing Service.
