Join us on Tuesday evenings 7-7.30pm for bed yoga. We will connect movement with our knowledge and awareness of our bodies, to create a class that suits each of our needs and find a little peace. We'll delve into mindful movement, breathing exercises, and discover the power in the stillness of pauses between poses. No equipment needed.
This class is suitable for all levels, and of course is designed for our community of chronic illness warriors, but if you have questions or concerns, just drop Billy an email on firstname.lastname@example.org
If you can't make this class time, we offer all our live classes on demand as recordings at www.patreon.com/chronicallyawesome (silver and gold packages only).
What people say about this class:
Thank you so much, this was a really rewarding experience.
I'm new to Chronically Awesome and Bed Yoga was the first class I'd tried. I really really loved it! I'm a yoga regular but this was the first time I felt the instructor really understood my experience as someone with chronic pain and illness. The exercises were really accessible and adaptable, as well as relaxing. I'm so thrilled to have found an organisation where chronically ill people are leading the community, as everything I've tried previously has been led by people who don't fully understand the experience. I'm really looking forward to trying out more Chronically Awesome classes and workshops!
I really enjoyed the last bed yoga session, and hope that they become regular sessions. It was my first one, and I've just booked to do this week's as well. The time is great for me, and length of session. I really enjoyed the breathing work, and stretches helping my back/neck.
I have tried two sessions of the bed yoga so far and I am really enjoying it! I find it very relaxing and supportive, the teacher is brilliant at putting me in contact with my body and encouraging me to explore movement in a safe and conscious way. I always feel at the end as though a weight has been lifted, it just relaxes me so much! I have been implementing the breathing technique to help me get back in contact with my body and putting myself back in my body when I feel myself escaping.
