Like to unwind with a glass of something in the evening? Find yourself reaching for a drink most nights? If you're not careful it's easy for the occasional glass in the evening to quickly become 2 or 3 glasses most days.

Taking more Drink Free Days during your week is an easy way to reduce the risk of alcohol to your health and look after yourself.

Men and women are advised not to drink more than 14 units of alcohol a week. This is the same as 6 pints of average strength beer a week. Regularly drinking more than this can increase the risk to your health.

It's important to know how much you are drinking and the easy ways you can cut back.

Positive Change - Health and Wellbeing Group

Our friendly, community focused ‘Positive Change’ programme has been designed to promote health and wellbeing, enabling learners to live a more active lifestyle, overcoming barriers of confidence, anxiety, poor mental health or unemployment. Whether this being through traditional sport and exercise to softer approaches our ‘Positive Change’ life coaches offer ten weeks of FREE support. The program is designed to empower adults to make a positive lifestyle change to assist them in removing some of the barriers they may face in getting into the labour market while embedding CPD and positive opportunities for work.
